Hello IGBers!
It sounds like you are all having a great time working with your host GBC and of course, taking in the local culture! Everything from Carretes to Sumatra weddings, tasting the local delicacies to visiting the amazing places that your host country has to offer. Not to mention celebrating Canada Day in some pretty unique ways with the locals!
And now, the time has come for your second blogging assignment! I know, you have all been holding your breath for this moment. Your task *drum roll please* is to write about one particular "project" that you have worked on at the GBC that truly excited you. This could be an event, a workshop, a report, a meeting with a key person or organization, a new partnership... you get the idea.
In your blog post, please be sure to briefly describe the project, tell us what your role was, and of course, explain why this project was so exciting for you. What were the outcomes of this project? Has it changed your views at all or made you see things differently? When you have finished writing about your experience, please be sure to check out what others have been to. Did someone else have a similar experience?
On a last note, thanks to all of you for sending in your detailed report outlines (and to Miguel for sending in your abstract!). I am reading through them all this week and will be sending over some feedback to you shortly. There are some really great ideas in the works here!
